Skin Detox Green Smoothie

Most people don't view skin as an organ, but it is in fact the largest organ of body! If you suffer from poor skin, don't turn to over-the-counter products. Skin quality starts from within. If the state of your internal organs are compromised, your skin will be the first to suffer.

The major detox organs of the body, namely, the liver, kidneys and intestinal tract, filter out toxins. If these organs are malfunctioning, then toxins need a way to exit the body, and thus, they come out of the skin in the form of blemishes, acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis - you name it!

This smoothie will help support proper liver and kidney function, and will aid in proper elimination of built-up toxic matter in the intestinal tract. Remember, drinking plenty of water throughout the day, and engaging in regular exercise and stress-reduction techniques is also crucial to proper skin health. Consuming a diet rich in fruit and vegetables is also incredibly necessary for a beautiful complexion.
